Jake and his team always tried to leave the house as tidy as they could - I mean this was plastering with breathable membranes which meant some back to brick so there was always going to be mess but they never left without doing what they could. JL Plastering and Venetian Design are very professional and great craftsmen. Would recommend to anyone wanting a unique look to their home, every finish is a one-off. He can even Venetian finish worktops/cupboards if required. Can't praise him enough, I saw some of his work on Facebook and asked for a quote for building and Venetian plastering a media wall. He stuck to his price and offered good suggestions which showed his experience. He even made us a large sample board to ensure we were happy with the colour/finish. He completed the work yesterday and we are really pleased. Work was carried out to a higher standard than we actually envisaged and all our floors/furniture were protected during the work. Jake has done a quite few jobs for me more recently a bedroom skim but previously skimmed most rooms of my house and also completed some damp proofing on a previous property. I was recommended to Jake by a friend for a media wall. I told him exactly what I wanted, I specifically designed the media wall myself down to the colours and textures etc and the results were better than I ever pictured it to be. I am pleased with the job. Turned up on time and were careful with my property. I could not get a weekday off for the job to be done so Jake agreed a Saturday which meant I could get the job done sooner. Good communication too. The price was what I was expecting and they were both courteous and polite. I would recommend.

Jake has been an absolute pleasure to deal with over what has been quite a long, drawn out period while having building work done. Not phased by push backs, very understanding when contacted about our hold ups during the build and very accommodating getting us in over a busy festive period.
Jake and his keen apprentice Myles were both extremely polite, timely and mindful of our two young children, clearing up after themselves after each visit, and ensuring that the space was left safe and clean each time.
